Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has provided EGP 2 billion in urgent allocations for fiscal year 2019/2020 to improve road networks inside governorates, the Egyptian minister of finance Mohamed Maait said.

The government aims to raise allocations for health, education, and comprehensive health insurance during the coming fiscal year in a bid to support human, social, and economic development, Maait added in a statement on Sunday.

The deputy finance minister Ahmed Kouchouk affirmed that the government aims to maintain the downward trajectory of public debt and deficit rates, along with keeping its monetary policy stable and widening the tax base by including new segments.
