MANAMA: Bapco Tazweed, the service station subsidiary of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (Nogaholding), has started operating and managing fuel stations owned by the private sector.

Announcing the first such arrangement, the company said it has commissioned the Palace Avenue Service Station in Gudaibiya.

The station is owned by Kingdom Projects, whose representatives joined the management of Bapco Tazweed in the ceremony.

Founded in 2019, Bapco Tazweed owns and operates 19 petrol stations spread across the kingdom.

The company is currently redeveloping its old service stations, with work on the Hidd and Muharraq stations set to be completed this year, joining the Tubli facility which was the first to be developed under the plan.
