MANAMA: Diyar Al Muharraq has announced the completion of its Jeewan residential project, with all 160 villas in the third and final phase now ready for handover.
Launched in October 2018, the project comprises 450 villas, developed in three phases.
In phase one, 170 villas were built of which 87 per cent have been delivered to homeowners since November last year, whereas the 120 villas constructed during phase two have seen a handover rate of 85pc.
Commenting on the occasion, Diyar Al Muharraq chief executive Ahmed Ali Alammadi said: “We are pleased to announce the completion of the Jeewan project as per the outlined schedule, upholding Diyar Al Muharraq’s quality and standards with the utmost efficiency despite the challenges this past year has presented. With the completion of the third and final phase of the project, we are keen to handover the villas in this phase, completing another neighbourhood in Diyar Al Muharraq, and adding to the growing community of the integrated city.”
The Jeewan villas, which are a part of the Deerat Al Oyoun project, were developed in cooperation with the Housing Ministry under the Mazaya Social Housing Scheme, offering Bahraini citizens affordable housing solutions.
The project is located near the main entrance to Diyar Al Muharraq, within close proximity of key facilities like mosques, a children’s playground, a mixed-use sports field and a community centre.
