His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, inaugurated the BDF Hospital’s Royal Medical Services (RMS) Clinics building yesterday.

HRH Prince Salman highlighted the kingdom’s commitment to advance the quality of medical services provided to citizens and residents, in line with its comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.

He noted the important role of public-private partnerships in strengthening the sustainability of healthcare services.He commended the BDF’s ongoing development, and its wide-ranging efforts in safeguarding the kingdom and its citizens as well as its commitment to protecting national achievements and interests.HRH Prince Salman highlighted the BDF RMS’ long-standing role in providing quality healthcare services to citizens, noting the efforts of its administrative staff and medical professionals in contributing to the kingdom’s healthcare sector.

He unveiled a commemorative plaque marking the inauguration of the RMS Clinics, and was presented with a souvenir by the RMS commander.HRH Prince Salman toured the premises, and was briefed on RMS’ departments, units and medical practices. The RMS Clinics building has six floors consisting of 14 consultation clinics, primary healthcare clinics, and the Banoon ART and Cytogenetics Centre for assisted reproductive technology as well as 265 consultation rooms, three pharmacies, eight specimen collection rooms and a number of x-ray rooms.

Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Defence Minister Lt Gen Abdulla Al Nuaimi, BDF Chief of Staff Lt Gen Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, RMS Commander Major General Professor Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa and a number of senior BDF officers attended.
