Bahrain's long-standing relations with the UAE have yielded many achievements benefiting both countries and their peoples, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has said.

He noted the importance of furthering co-operation to achieve common goals as he met UAE President Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Qasr Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi yesterday.

The UAE President stressed the mutual commitment to further advancing co-operation.

The latest regional and international issues of common interest, and initiatives to further solidify Bahrain-UAE relations were reviewed.

The meeting was attended by Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, HRH the Crown Prince’s private secretary Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UAE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa and senior UAE officials.
