The Indonesian government is still discussing plans to tax coal exports, but is pledging not to kill the industry, its finance minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said on Wednesday.
Purbaya didn't say whether Indonesia was still planning to implement the tax starting from January 1, but said it could be applied retroactively.
