World Bank is ready to provide all aspects of support for the Egyptian mining industry

Arab Finance: Egyptian Petroleum Minister Tarek El Molla met with Global Director for the World Bank's Energy and Extractives Global Practice Demetrios Papathanasiou to discuss cooperation between the World Bank and East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF) in the field of energy transformation, the Petroleum Ministry stated on March 8th.

They also tackled the current regional green transition activities in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

Moreover, Papathanasiou said that the World Bank is ready to provide all aspects of support for the Egyptian mining industry.

This came on the sidelines of the CERAWeek 2023 energy conference in Houston, the US.
