Oxagon, which will house advanced and clean industries in the $500 billion NEOM gigaproject, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Industrial Development and Logistics Programme (NIDLP) to accelerate the transformation of Saudi Arabia into a leading industrial powerhouse, Oxagon said in a tweet.

The collaboration with NIDLP will drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 with cutting-edge technologies such as AI, IoT and robotics within Oxagon.

With this partnership, Oxagon will operate one of the national capabilities centres designed to advance key learnings, talent development, and empower organisations to transform towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution in line with Vision 2030, a separate tweet added.

Oxagon CEO Vishal Wanchoo said the aim is to support NIDLP’s initiatives in creating a framework for developing necessary talent and infrastructure to accelerate the industrial transformation across the Kingdom.
