Kuwait : Zain, the leading digital service provider in Kuwait, received the Gulf Breakthrough Award from Dell Technologies, the global leader in technology solutions. The award recognizes Zain’s Strategic Partnership with Dell in driving digital transformation within the telecom and IT sector in the region, as well as its offering of advanced solutions across its B2B and B2C platforms as per world-class standards.

The announcement was made during the virtual MERAT Partner Summit 2021, which Dell Technologies hosts every year to shed light on its top partners in the Middle East, Russia, Africa, and Turkey region. The Breakthrough Award, which is dedicated to Dell’s partners in the Gulf region, reflected Zain’s leadership in driving digital transformation initiatives locally and regionally.

Zain expressed its pride in winning this prestigious award, which is a recognition from one of the world’s biggest technology leaders in its capabilities and contributions to empowering digital transformation. The award reflects the company’s leadership in adopting the highest international standards to offer advanced solutions with fantastic service quality to its subscribers and corporate customers, whom it considers an essential part of the Zain family, the biggest family of subscribers in Kuwait.

In late 2019, Zain signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dell Technologies that enabled it to implement a variety of technology solutions that benefit clients operating in Kuwait. The MoU aimed at achieving heightened levels of productivity, efficiency, and profitability for clients as Zain continues its digital transformation journey and further enhances its role as a key supporter of the New Kuwait Vision 2035.

As part of the agreement, Zain implemented a multi-cloud IT strategy to leverage a range of cloud-based services. Dell Technologies enabled Zain to provide value-added cloud services to customers, who benefited from modern enterprise technologies such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, workforce transformation, and more.

Zain also benefited from the seamless integration of a wide range of Dell’s solutions along with Zain’s internal applications. This not only unified user data and facilitated accurate user profiling, but also developed unique processes given the solutions’ ability to create more focused and targeted reports and campaigns.

Zain continues to achieve its strategy towards fully transforming into an integrated digital service provider, through which the company aims at empowering a more efficient business sector in the Kuwaiti market. This award reflects Zain’s commitment in further pushing the digital transformation wheel in Kuwait by contributing to advance the local business sector, as the company considers itself an active partner in creating the future of smart life in Kuwait on all levels, especially within business areas.
