Dubai - Expo 2020 Dubai invites visitors to enjoy a variety of shows and entertainment activities including spectator sports and different musical styles to give them an unforgettable experience over the coming weekend.

Sports fans planning to start the weekend early can follow the sixth stage of the Emirates Tour race throughout Friday (February 25th), the contestants' presentation on the Dubai Millennium Theatre, as well as the practical racing section of Expo 2020 Dubai from 10:00 UAE time. The riders are scheduled to travel 180 kilometres across the desert and into the city, before being welcomed by the public upon their return to Expo 2020 Dubai to cross Finish line.

Later in the day, specifically at 18:30 UAE time, visitors can ensure a happy and special weekend ending by attending the Paradise Orchestra's performance at Jubilee Park, where this women's orchestra takes its audience on a journey to the best of A.R. Rahman's best musicals and tells them the stories behind each, including honoring the famous Indian actor, producer and screenwriter Rajnikan.

Visitors can enjoy the Expo 2020 Dubai street music series, watch the best Filipino musical talent, such as Billy Crawford, Nadine Loster, Kim Molina and Leica Geranod at 20:00 Emirates time in The Earth Square, and then move on to enjoy the Indian film Dabang: The Tour Ri-Lo With Bollywood legend Salman Khan at 21:00 EMIRATES TIME in the Dubai Exhibition Centre square, with the participation of artists such as Sunakshi Sinha, Desha Patani, Boja Hejdi, Ayush Sharma, Sai Mangrikar, Guru Randhua and Kamal Khan and Manish Paul.

The exciting weekend at Expo 2020 Dubai continues with the World Muay Thai Championship at Expo Sports Arena on Saturday, February 26, starting at 16:30 UAE time.

The fun doesn't stop there, there are also two opportunities for visitors to attend "Why? The musical" at Wasl Square on Saturday , February 26 and Sunday, February 27, at 20:00 UAE time.

Singer, songwriter and music producer Thiago Holland listens to music clips that embody the brilliant Brazilian spirit at the Dubai Millennium Theatre, starting at 19:00 UAE time on Saturday 26 February, while Dubai-based songwriter DJ Hani, who has performed in more than 600 international clubs, performs in a festive atmosphere at 19:00 UAE time on the Jubilee platform.

On that evening, specifically at 21:00 UAE time, visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai will be on a date with indian singing star Amit Trivedi's concert on the Jubilee stage.

Jubilee Garden has been set up to shine all night with a spectacular fireworks display starting at 20:55 UAE time, lighting up the velvet sky, celebrating over 15 million visits to  Expo 2020 Dubai.

The Street Music Event at Expo 2020 on Saturday (February 26th) also offers an oriental night in The Earth Square, where visitors can enjoy Arabic music accompanied by the fresh voices of artists Ziad Barji, Joseph Attia, Dalida Khalil and Bashar al-Jawad.

The weekend continues, with three performances by the African Union on February 27th bringing African voices and rhythms to the UAE with a spectacular performance by Nigerian singer-songwriter Ira Starr, legendary South African pop duo Mavikizulu and Congolese singer-songwriter Valle Ibuba starting at 19:00 UAE time on the Jubilee platform.

As a huge international event with the world's biggest mega-shows, Expo 2020 Dubai has chosen the most famous great art of the 1980s to perform "80s Night", with Bonnie M, Bonnie Taylor, The Village Pebble and Earth Wind & Fire performing on Saturday at 21:00 UAE time, with Sheldon Reynolds participating in the Street Music Series on Wasl Street.

It will be a lively and fun-filled celebration of timeless iconic songs and pop culture in the 1980s, with songs that everyone knows and loves.
