Al-Ain: The United Arab Emirates University has announced the launching of a Statistical Consulting Unit (SCU).
The Unit will provide organizations and researchers in the UAE with statistical consultancy and training in statistics and data analytics. Dr. Saeed Aldahmani, Chair of the Department of Analytics in the Digital Era, stated “the Unit will provide professional statistical consulting to clients from the government (public sector), business, and industry. The provided services encompass all phases of applied research, including assistance in study design for writing grant proposals, data specifications, statistical analysis and data analytics, and training workshops.’’ He noted that the new Unit will contribute to the digital transformation of the UAE, forming another milestone towards the creation of a competitive knowledge economy, which is one of the pillars of UAE's National Agenda.
