Course to boost Mid East and North Africa tourism and hospitality sectors
Dubai May 7th, 2006: Track LLC, the Pan-Arab learning products company headquartered in Dubai, has expanded its curriculum to include a tourism and hospitality certification course. In English, and shortly to be in Arabic, the course covers tourism business, management, marketing, hospitality, maximizing customer relationships, emerging tourism issues, global code of ethics, security and safety.
Track will be the exclusive Middle East and North Africa distributor for the American headquartered International Business Training Association (IBTA,) which provides the world renowned Certified Business Professional (CBP) courses. Track will provide training centres with the necessary certifications and learning products for the new CBP hospitality and tourism course. The course has been added to boost the success of projects undertaken by both governments and corporations, in this sector.
"During the past three decades, Gulf countries have witnessed remarkable growth in tourism, with huge investments being made in this sector. More than two dozen new hotel licenses have been issued in Kuwait, Qatari Diar's Lusail development, and projects like Saadiyat Island in the UAE, to name a few. Track is aware of the increasing regional need for hospitality and tourism professionals, and a new raft of learning products and certification courses will help grow this sector throughout the GCC," said Jawad Qasrawi, Vice President, Track.
"IBTA's Content Development Team (CDT) comprises experienced professionals, with most having their own businesses and a wealth of global experience. Extensive research went into developing the CBP tourism and hospitality course to ensure the course meets our standards and also the needs of regional employers."
