Effective participation of more than 700 specialist in the field of electronic information security, and the United Arab Emirates establishes the first security analyzes laboratory in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe

Black Hat Abu Dhabi conference concluded its event with unprecedented success; the conference was hosted and organized at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research in conjunction with the UAE 41st National Day celebrations.

"Black Hat" Abu Dhabi 2012 was attended by more than seven hundred specialist and interested in the field of electronic information security including 10 training courses specialized in this area revealing the latest discoveries in the field of information security and cloud computing.

The conference topics were centered on the cutting edge most important and sensitive technical security research, including mobile phones, financial systems, and internet attacks and threats; it will discusses also the establishment of network protocols such as " developed long-term project " LTE ". The conference was concluded in two days for brevity and announcement of results and findings of participants.

It is noteworthy that the United Arab Emirates occupies the first place regionally and fourth globally in the field of cyber security as well as obtaining The international accreditation of the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors / Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD / LAB) by the electronic Evidence Laboratory of the Computer Emergency Response Team at the Authority to be the first in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.

"In the past three years, we have provided thirty different courses in the information sector in presence of more than 450 participants, in addition to 45 brief sessions with the presence of about 1300 participants. The comprehensive training provided by the Authority is very important if we want to stay in the foreground. The UAE Electronic Frontier has faced many threats of Distributed Denial of Services, Phishing websites and e-mail misuse to wider attempts aiming to reach sensitive data. Therefore it is very important to prepare our employees and people" HE Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, Director General of the General Authority for regulating the telecommunications sector, said.
