SensAsia Urban Spa has unveiled an exciting new concept and brand expansion with the launch of The Spa by SensAsia at Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City, which will open in March 2019. As leaders in the UAE spa industry, with a portfolio of SensAsia Urban Spa locations and bespoke private projects spanning its 14-year operation, The Spa by SensAsia at Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City is the latest of the Dubai-born company’s bespoke spa concepts – demonstrating the demand for turnkey spa solutions by the Middle East hospitality market, and SensAsia’s capability to provide them.
Designed to provide a sleek sanctuary of tranquillity away from the frantic city pace, The Spa by SensAsia comprises five unisex and multipurpose treatment rooms – named Breathing, Living, Being, Flowing and Sensing – separate changing facilities for men and women, a gym, pool, bar, sauna and steam rooms.
SensAsia has created a bespoke menu of massages, facials, scrubs, wraps, prenatal treatments and complete sensory journeys for The Spa by SensAsia at Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City [examples of which are below]. The much-loved and locally-lauded brand’s has brought some of its most popular treatments into the new menu, while also creating options unique to its latest spa, which have been conceptualised to fit with Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City’s clientele, ethos of endless possibilities and brand principle: ʼwe make moments.ʻ
Demonstrating this is The Spa by SensAsia’s Tasting Bar, where clients, guided by their expert therapists, can customise their treatment by selecting Oriental-inspired oils and argan butters – such as orange blossom, vanilla and amber – to suit their mood. Set to become a stand-out offering at The Spa by SensAsia is the sensorial menu of ‘Journeys’ – including The Revival, The Luxe and The Dream – designed to allow clients to curate their own experience and encourage the body and mind to enter into complete states of escapism, calm, repair and luxury.
SensAsia has selected two new product lines to pioneer at The Spa by SensAsia at Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City. Ancestral Parisian brand Charme D’Orient’s will bring its core principles of tradition, sensuality, harmony, purification and cultural heritage to The Spa by SensAsia, while a targeted range of facials and products will come from Vie Collection – specialists in advanced formulas that breathe new life into skin.
A dedicated menu ‘Just For Him’ has also been carefully constructed by the SensAsia team, and includes treatments such as The Gentleman’s Tonic salt scrub and stress-relieving massage, facials focusing on deep pore cleansing and skin reconditioning, as well as The Classic G&T – an intense massage for the glutes and thighs, followed by a juniper cocktail at the bar.
