DUBAI, UAE: This Sunday, October 20, Dubai International (DXB) will start the official countdown to Expo 2020, marking the nationwide celebration of one year to go before The World’s Greatest Show. 

Establishing its position as the first experience of Expo 2020 and the UAE for many of the hundreds of thousands of visitors expected to descend on the Emirates between October 20, 2020 and April 10, 2021, DXB is leading the celebration with an exciting passenger activation involving drummers from the four corners of the globe.

Beginning at 5pm on Sunday, twenty drummers from across continents being represented at Expo 2020 will begin their journey through the concourses of DXB, collecting passengers along the way and joining together for an exciting musicDXB performance in Concourse B.

The main performance will take place close to gates B26 and B28 where a huge cinema screen is poised to broadcast a live feed directly to Burj Park, linking the DXB celebrations with those taking place around the UAE.
