The UAE bankers hosted during their monthly luncheon Mr. Ismail Al Naqi, the Project Manager of Dubai Outsource Zone.  The gathering took place at the Dubai World Trade Club.  More than fifty executives representing the majority of banks and financial institutions operating in the UAE attended the gathering.

Mr. Al Naqi, spoke about the initiative to establish a dedicated center for the outsourcing industry in Dubai as part of the drive to develop business centers within the city.

He highlighted the importance of the outsource zone for the banking & financial industry, particularly in its ability to provide through its infrastructure, qualified skills that are cost effective which saves a lot of effort and resources. 

Mr. Suleiman Al Mazroui, Chief Manager Group Affairs at Emirates Bank, requested the attendees to stand up for a minute of silence in respect of the soul of the beloved H.H. Sh. Zayed bin Sulatan Al Nahyan, Mr. Al Mazroui also reviewed the various activities that are relevant to the banking industry on the agenda and welcomed the new guests who have joined the gathering, wishing all the bankers another prosperous and successful year in 2005.
