CLOUD WEEKEND 2017 calls on the most exclusive summit for IT decision makers in Egypt

Cairo, Egypt: – TERADIX recently launched their annual CLOUD WEEKEND to raise awareness about the latest technologies in Egypt that help digitalize and transform businesses. CLOUD WEEKEND 2017 brought together a broad array of CIO, CTOs, CISO, senior engineers and IT leaders from business and governmental communities who shared impactful case studies inspired by some of the latest advancements in infrastructure, operations, analytics and available services through the global network. Around 500 IT decision makers and top executives attended this year’s CLOUD WEEKENED, engaging through exciting keynotes, panel discussions, interactive workshops and sessions, while focusing on the emerging trends of Cloud computing including public cloud services as an enabler of business agility and speed, Private and Hybrid cloud services, and IoT and Big data and Cloud security for managing and storing corporate information.

CLOUD WEEKEND is the most exclusive gathering of IT decision makers in Egypt, aiming to provide them with the right options and resources to help design a digitalization roadmap and adopt new cloud technologies to help safeguard the future of corporations and companies. Following the previously held CLOUD WEEKENDs, more business are adopting cloud services and computing, with a 36%

increase in both awareness from the private and public sectors to move their core IT components to the cloud with great interest in hybrid solutions.

Over the past few years, CLOUD WEEKEND was the main event for TERADIX, however, starting in 2018, more local and regional events will be arranged to help drive greater cloud awareness and increase digitization rates across the region.
