Dubai, United Arab Emirates (17th January 2011) - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is today revelling in the return of Sackboy, the small but mighty star of LittleBigPlanet™, as the much anticipated LittleBigPlanet™2 flies, sings, paints and creates its way back on to PlayStation®3 (PS3™).  This time around, there are no limits to where your imagination can take you in an adventure that will never end as you share your creations with the world.  You get to make any game or experience that you like, from customising levels and creating whole new games, to sending Sackbots down the catwalk in a fashion show with a soundtrack you've composed yourself to go along with it.  Creating a game platform even more mind-blowing than LittleBigPlanet was never going to be an easy task, but its sequel has pushed the boundaries of creativity even further and has already blown critics' expectations out of the water.  Get ready for a whole new world of fun.

Of course, you might want to give Sackboy a helping hand before you don your creative hat - join him on a crazy science adventure with up to four of your friends as he tries to protect Craftworld from the dreaded Negativitron, a giant, creativity-sucking vacuum cleaner. Bounce, swing and run your way through 50 mind-blowing levels. Create your own way around obstacles with Sackboy's weird and wonderful Creatinator, or test out a host of nifty new toys like the grappling hook to help you face death-defying swings over hazards, or bounce pads that will fling you up to those hard to reach places.

Saving Craftworld is only the start. Let your imagination run wild through the realms of the patchwork planet and create whole new games from puzzles to racers to shooters, with the most resourceful LittleBigPlanet yet!  The secret is in the Popit - Sackboy's bag of tricks - which lets you devise moving contraptions, invent new wildlife, set off smoke machines, and even program automated characters.

And it's not just games you can create.  Set up a cookery competition, create a music video or craft an homage to your favourite film scene.  Design a new space suit for Sackboy, an anti-gravity machine, or a piano that plays itself - anything and everything is within your power.  You have stickers, paint, metal, sponges, balloons, springs, engines, plasma rays, electricity and even photos you've captured using the PlayStation®Eye Camera.

If you need to give your imagination a break, explore the minds of players from across the world who are uploading their creations to PlayStation®Network.  There are already more than three million levels created by players of the first LittleBigPlanet to get you started, and by the time you've navigated your way through those, there will be many more!  Make friends worldwide, and connect through with them all via LittleBigPlanet.com - thanks to community features that help you find the games and players you love.

Excited? Sackboy is. He's been getting ready for this for two years - and he's back in town!  LittleBigPlanet 2 for PlayStation 3 is out now priced at 269AED.  What's in the box is just the beginning - you'll be astounded at what you end up creating. Find out more at www.eu.playstation.com.
