Dubai, U.A.E., 27th February 2011- UAE-headquartered Takaful Emarat, a Shariah compliant life and health insurance company, has announced the appointment of Ghassan Marrouche as General Manager.
Mr. Marrouche joins Takaful Emarat with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. A veteran in the region's insurance field, Marrouche has an impressive track record of start-up operations, turn around and growth of existing operations. With a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, Marrouche has an extensive background in product development, marketing, sales, and management.
Prior to his appointment at Takaful Emarat, Mr. Marrouche held the position of General Manager at Insurance companies in Saudia Arabia and Oman.
"With diverse insurance and management expertise across the region, Ghassan brings comprehensive insight to his new role as General Manager, which will hold Takaful Emarat in good stead as we prepare to enter a phase of growth and expansion," said Dr. Khalid Saqer Bukhammas Al-Marri, Chairman, Takaful Emarat.
