STS, the leading IT service and enterprise solutions provider and IBM's Premier Business Partner was awarded a contract to develop and implement a web portal for Alinma Bank, one of the largest and prominent banks in the Arab region, whereby STS will commence the project in two phases by laying out an inclusive project plan using the latest from IBM WebSphere Portal and Content Management.
This enterprise arrives as a constituent of a strategic partnership between Alinma Bank and STS, along with supplying the bank with the latest technologies gained during the company's years of business through alliances with distinguished names in the IT world such as IBM, Cisco and Microsoft. Moreover, efficiency of service and response time are becoming the pressing needs to maintain and expand customer base, especially for institutions experiencing rapid growth, such as Alinma Bank.
It is worth mentioning that after the completion of the project, the web portal integrated front page, One Stop Shop will be launched and accessible to customers, where they are able to see first-hand bank information along with the products and services it offers, not to mention, the latest financial market highlights and developing news. The web portal will be equipped to provide online job applications on one hand and customer feedback on the other. The portal in its final form will contain integral financial facilities needed by the customers in their dealings, as well as a large number of articles related to aspects of Islamic transactions legitimacy from the perspective of Islamic economic laws.
Alinma Bank is one of the largest banks in the Arab region in terms of capital, and provides specialized and advanced financial services in line with the legal terms and controls. The bank aspires, within its strategy to grow a share in the financial market in Saudi Arabia.
