Spinneys Set To Open At Omniyat Properties First Residential Development

Dubai, UAE, 28 March 2010 - Omniyat Properties, one of the region's most innovative developers, and Spinneys, the Middle East's premier supermarket retailer, have signed an agreement to open a Spinneys store at The Square, Mamzar.

Omniyat Properties has handed over 1,120,000 square feet of its first mixed-use, integrated community development, The Square, including Phase 1's 544 residential units last year, and the 126 unit office tower as part of Phase 2 earlier this year. A stylish low-rise fully integrated community complex with an Arabesque flavor, The Square is located in the lush surrounds of Al Mamzar (Deira), Dubai. The complex consists of seven low-rise residential towers which feature a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments surrounded by 65,000 square feet of landscaped garden and water features, as well as stylish hotel apartments.

Spanning a lettable area of 11,377 square feet, Spinneys at The Square will be located at a prominent entry point adjacent to the main mall entrance and overlooking the busy Cairo Road. The outlet is scheduled to commence operations before the end of the year and will offer customers a full service supermarket with a wide variety of fresh and prepared produce, grocery and household items, in addition to a range of lifestyle services such as DVD rental, laundry services and much more.
