Shakespeare and Co. to Open First Café-Restaurant at The Wave, Muscat, Oman

UAE-based Shakespeare and Co. is making waves in Muscat, Oman, as it prepares to open its first cafe-restaurant this summer at The Wave, Muscat, the Sultanate's premier lifestyle destination. Located in the heart of Muscat along a beautiful 6km coastline, the development is one of Oman's most desirable as a place for living and recreation.

The opening of Shakespeare and Co. at The Wave, Muscat by mid-summer, will be a first for the Omani market, offering a new comprehensive café-restaurant experience for Muscat diners.

The diverse menu and quirky style will appeal to the diverse range of upscale-casual diners both residents at The Wave and from around Muscat. The spacious 3,600 square foot restaurant will have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a private family dining room. In addition to the cafe-restaurant, a full patisserie will be incorporated into the concept at a later stage. The menu variety will include specialty breakfast items such as eggs Benedict, fresh salads, pizza, main courses and desserts. "The success of the Shakespeare concept in the UAE can be partly attributed to the comprehensive menu selection that is reflective of the international diversity of the region. The senior management believes that the Omani franchise will achieve similar success by targeting a market characterized by increased diversity through immigration as well as a growing disposable income," said Suzanne Blake, Director of Sales and Marketing. Views of the Almouj Marina and an intricately designed interior will make this restaurant a unique destination for tourists as well as residents in Muscat.
