DUBAI: SANYO has used its unique technical expertise in creating a light-weight aluminum framed LCD monitor, which is protected by anti-reflected tamper glass. This means that the SANYO weatherproof monitor can be used in a wide variety of environments due to it being fully approved IP56 we ather-resistant. The monitor makes the ideal display for digital signage and public displays.
The new SANYO 42V Weatherproof LCD Monitor is fully water proof, which can resist at least 65 gallons of water delivered from a distance not less than ten feet for five minutes. This 42" LCD encased in its aluminum frame and tamper-resistant glass stays high and dry. This unit is aimed more at commercial applications such as outdoor digital signage.

On the back of the enclosure are two panels. The upper one is for the optional PJNet device, which, when attached, allows to control the display properties of the monitor using Internet browser without any additional software.
The lower panel contains all the audio, video and PC connections, but not in the form that most consumers are familiar with. The diverse types of connectors reflect the industrial and international nature of this monitor.
As a digital signage monitor the need for picture-in-picture features are integrated into the SANYO Weatherproof LCD along with the less cluttered non-backlit remote control.
For those who are so crazy for sports games, this waterproof monitor renders all genres of games in all of their glory. The viewing angle on the SANYO 42V Weatherproof monitor is respectable for an LCD. SANYO describes the tamper-resistant glass as approximately 1/10 less reflective and five times tougher than the usual float glass.
The monitor delivers a great looking 720p image wrapped up in a bright aluminum waterproof enclosure. It's designed for the digital signage and commercial markets. But if you love luscious colour fidelity and you have an inclement TV viewing environment, then you should consider this weather resistant monitor.
