Beirut, Lebanon:With the global spread of COVID-19 impacting most communities, Samsung is adapting its practices to protect the health and well-being of its people and customers. As such, the service centers in Lebanon are currently closed in accordance to the government’s General Mobilization and further measures it extended till April 26th and will not reopen until further notice.
Samsung is offering to extend the warranty of its products for customers who could not get service and their warranty expires during the movement restriction period that started on March 16th, 2020. The offer will be 1 month starting from the end date of movement restriction.
Moreover, Samsung will of course never leave its customers without support. The call center is operating from its staff’s own homes to provide Samsung’s customers the professional support they deserve. The call center operates from 8.00am till 5.00pm Monday to Friday during the General Mobilization period, but will return to its 24/7 operation once that eases or ends. The contact number is 1299.
A key solution Samsung has for supporting its customers is Remote Service. The service professional in the call center can remotely access the customer’s Smart TV or mobile and support solve software issues or guide on a feature. Of course, this is fully secured and requests the customer’s permission before starting the session.
Samsung, like always, is dedicated to provide differentiated services to its loyal customers by all possible means, and in all situations possible.
