Leading manufacturer delivers AED 600,000 worth of rubber insulation for 'Manarat Al Saadiyat' within the mega project
Rubber World Industries (RWI), the leading manufacturer of closed-cell rubber insulation 'Gulf-O-flex' in the Gulf and South-East Asia, and part of the international business conglomerate, the Shaikhani Group of Companies, has bagged the insulation contract for 'Saadiyat Island' project in Abu Dhabi. The agreement involved the delivery of top quality rubber insulation products worth AED 600,000 for 'Manarat Al Saadiyat', one of Saadiyat Island's components, which will encompass four major galleries, an experience and sales centre, a 250-seat theatre and a restaurant. The company is confident that the agreement will boost its position as the leader in the Middle East rubber insulation market in 2010.
Among the products delivered by RWI for the 15,400 sq. metre visitor centre were its industry-leading 'Gulf-O-Flex' Rubber insulation tubes, rubber insulation sheets, PVC black tape and 'Gulf-O-Glue'. Designed solely for professional MEP contractors, 'Gulf-O-flex' is the only rubber insulation product in the market that meets clients' unique requirements in terms of preventing condensation or frost formation on refrigerant lines, cold water plumbing and chilled water systems.

Literally translated as 'a place that provides enlightenment' in Arabic, 'Manarat Al Saadiyat' has opened its first phase to the public in November 2009 to serve as an exciting artistic venue by housing international exhibitions from around the world. Among the main galleries within the project are the 'Arts Abu Dhabi Gallery' and the 'Central Events Gallery', in addition to dedicated spaces for internationally renowned museums, which are set to open by April 2010 - the 'Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Gallery' and the 'Louvre Abu Dhabi Gallery'. Furthermore, it also features 'The Saadiyat Story' - an interactive experience centre that brings to life the historical and cultural vision behind 'Saadiyat Island' as well as future developments within the project.
