Winning team takes home gold and silver prizes for Multiplaza Escazu and MetroMall Panama

Global architecture firm RTKL and Grupo Roble, one of the most significant shopping center developers in Central and South America, have been rewarded once again for their successful partnership, winning a gold award for Multiplaza Escazu in Costa Rica and a silver award for MetroMall Panama in Panama City at the 2012 International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Latin American Awards. ICSC recognizes the shopping center industry's most cutting-edge properties, innovative solutions, and creative responses to market trends, as well as outstanding examples of design and development.
The team accepted the gold award for Multiplaza Escazu's most recent expansion. RTKL designed the interiors, exteriors and provided graphics services for the project, implementing a design concept of natural elegance while working closely with developer Grupo Roble. Receiving the silver award, MetroMall Panama has a smart, simple design that allowed for streamlined construction and flexibility for future growth in this up-and-coming community.
