Doha - March 15, 2009: MEEZA has signed an agreement with Fuego Digital Media QSTP-LLC, a 'software on demand' company headquartered at the Qatar Science and Technology Park, to provide it with highly available, scalable and secure Data Centre Services.
Fuego is building the 'Fuego OnDemand' Service to provide simple Web-based business applications in Arabic, English and French to the 5.3 million small and medium-size enterprises (SME) across the 22 countries of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Speaking about Fuego's market opportunity, Kevin Higgins, Fuego's CEO, said, "Increasingly, the Web is becoming the primary means of an organization's interaction with customers, citizens, partners and employees. A key to improving SME business growth and profitability across MENA is to provide access to better Web applications."

MEEZA will be hosting the Fuego OnDemand Service from M-VAULT 1, its Tier 3 Data Centre, which is the first of its kind in Qatar and is located at a highly secure location within the Qatar Science & Technology Park. M-VAULT 1 offers clients 99.98% availability that is the highest level of availability offered from any commercial Data Centre in Qatar.
