Free shows at QAQ by famous Irish puppeteer promises to thrill all
Sharjah - The "Puppet Circus" by the Noel Lambert Puppet Theater, the third and final part of the trilogy of puppet plays for children will conclude today ( Saturday) at Qanat Al Qasba. The fantastic show with a host of new characters starring over twenty puppets in this slapstick-peppered production started on December 6 and will end today December 8.
The four daily shows can be enjoyed by children as well as adults. The "Puppet Circus" will be staged at Masrah Al Qasba with a free entrance.
This famous show of Master Irish puppeteers Noel Lambert and his wife Eva brings together an assortment of lovable characters. The theme is quirky and filled with fun and laughter. Peter Parrot Ringmaster of the Puppet Circus is a nervous wreck. Mickey, the mischievous monkey, has escaped from his cage and is causing mayhem backstage. Things go from bad to worst when he ruins Orla's high-wire Ballet act, and reduces her to tears. Can the stagehand clowns, Ping & Pong make the show run smoothly? Or will the monkey ruin the whole production?
Eiman Al Amri events coordinator of the Qanat Al Qasba Development Authority said, "The Noel Lambert Puppet Theatre is original and a wonderful form of entertainment for children. Through this show we hope not only to entertain, but educate as well.
"At Qanat Al Qasba we pride ourselves in catering a wide variety of constructive entertainment events for both children and adults, and we hope to bring in much more of such fantastic events like this one to our visitors in future."
The puppet show, which has been travelling the world since 2005 has entertained more than 20,000 children around the globe. Filled with original songs and music, this colourful and fast moving participation show opens up a wonderful world of theatre and fun for the little ones. Guaranteed to bring out the guffaws of even the parents, this highly visual show with its simple story lines is produced to suit children as young as three.
The Noel Lambert Puppet Theatre is a touring Puppet Company that operates independent of the famous "Lambert Puppet Theatre of which Noel is a founder member and Director. The creative engine of the `Noel Lambert Puppet Theatre` is husband and wife team Noel and Eva Lambert. Together as Master Puppeteers they perform their shows with all the skill you would expect from their combined experience of puppets, spanning decades. Eva is a highly accomplished Designer and Puppet maker, and takes responsibility for those aspects of their productions, while Noel creates the Scripts and Music.
