The Capital Governorate announced that “Bahrain Polytechnic” is an academic partner to “Manama Entrepreneurship Week” in its third edition, scheduled to take place from 28 October to 2 November. The event aims to stimulate the capacities of Bahraini youth and to cast light on new opportunities in the labour market, with the help of qualified competencies specialised in entrepreneurship through training workshops. The event will also present successful and prominent models in the field of entrepreneurship in Bahrain, the region and the world.

Dr. Jeff Zabudsky Bahrain Polytechnic CEO said that this academic partnership comes in line with Bahrain Polytechnic’s constant drive to participate in the social and economic progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He pointed out that Manama Entrepreneurship Week has demonstrated its ability in its two past editions to provide participants with knowledge and skills necessary to keeping abreast of current and future economic trends as well as labour market needs.

Dr. Zabudsky called on students of the Polytechnic University of Bahrain to attend the event’s seminars and workshops, investing this opportunity in exploring the developments of the labour market and building fruitful relationships with entrepreneurs in and out of Bahrain.

Hi emphasised that Polytechnic's innovation centre in business entrepreneurship is paving the way for initiative thinking and entrepreneurship by creating an entrepreneurial mentality. Bahrain Polytechnic will plant the seeds of the next generation of graduate entrepreneurs who can contribute to economic diversification in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Through its presence at this event, Bahrain Polytechnic is keen to strengthen its long-term established relations with private and public institutions, both national and international. The university is ever keen to provide the job market with its graduates, providing them with the necessary recruitment skills required by the labour market, not only to get a job, but to make progress in the workplace also.
