Dubai, UAE: Pinar has been named as one of the Top 50 Most Chosen Dairy Brands in the UAE by Kantar, publisher of Brand Footprint, an annual study into how shoppers buy Dairy brands globally.

The prestigious accolade of a Most Chosen Brand is a testament to the pinnacles reached by Pinar in building brand penetration and developing market share. It is a recognition of Pinar’s continued dedication to customer satisfaction and the delivery of quality and innovative products to both consumers, and businesses across the region.

Brand Footprint represents the most comprehensive study of Dairy brands across the globe, including 500 brands across 54 countries representing 73% of the world’s population and 89% of global GDP.  Its unique Consumer Reach Points metric is based on the underlying drivers of sales – how many people buy and how often – which is why it offers a true measure of brand strength, providing key findings for driving growth and success.

“Pinar is honoured to achieve Top 50 Most Chosen status after a period of continued investment and growth,” said Arda Cenk Tokbas, General Manager, Pinar Arabia. “It is the result of sustained strategic growth for over 20 years in the UAE as we continue to meet local tastes and demand. It is a clear reflection of the company’s strong commitment to the region, demonstrated by our considerable investment in local manufacturing capacity.”

At the end of 2019, Pinar opened its first-ever overseas production site in Abu Dhabi, following an initial investment of over AED 100 million.  The facility opened with capacity of approximately 30,000 tons of cheese production per year, with room to double that figure to 60,000 tons. Spanning 20,000 square meters, the new base has created more than 100 new jobs in the capital.

By the end of 2020; Pinar successfully achieved exporting products to 17 different countries; some of which, would be marked as the first cheese exports from UAE to new markets such as the US, Israel Philippines and Pakistan.

Pinar has demonstrated long-term commitment to the Middle East, with products present in the region for 35 years, growing sales consistently through both retail and out-of-home channels.

“We look forward to continuing to deliver on our core values of Quality, Innovation and Sustainability. Pinar is not only committed to bringing the people of the UAE high-quality products but to support them in living an active and healthy life by meeting their nutritional needs. As we grow from strength to strength, our customers can look forward to our continued dedication to quality without compromise.” concluded Tokbas.
