Doha, Qatar - As part of an exclusive worldwide support network, the first certified Masoneilan Authorised Service Centre (MARC) in Qatar allows Petrotec to service and support equipment sold from the Masoneilan and Consolidated ranges of control valves and actuators.
"This enables us to offer full, accredited technical support within Qatar across the Masoneilan and Consolidated valve product ranges. No other company will be able to do this or be certified by Dresser, the parent company of both brands, for the repair of this equipment in Qatar," says Nick Dennis, Manager of Petrotec's Service and Technology Center in Qatar.
Attending the certification ceremony on behalf of Dresser Masoneilan was Jean Mercier, Director of Services for Europe and the Middle East, who reiterated the company's commitment to the region where the oil and gas markets are demanding quality support for all products destined for the rigours of massive on- and off-shore energy projects.
This industry-wide recognition also allows Petrotec to offer similar services to other manufacturers utilising the efficiencies and best-practices inherited though this exclusive alliance in Qatar with Dresser.
The oil and gas industry, including upstream oil and gas recovery and downstream refining, represents the largest single market for valves and the Middle East is an important market for global market leaders such as Dresser.
