24 September 2003
PANDUIT today announced the introduction of the new PANACEA ™ LS7 Thermal Transfer Printer, which has been designed for fast and easy TIA/EIA-606A compliant labelling. The palm-sized printer is packed with features that make it an effective and economical solution for network and industrial manufacturing labelling.
The high quality thermal transfer print head produces professional looking labels, for use on both textured and curved surfaces, that do not smear. The label materials are formulated to ensure labels stay put, making them ideal for use on cables, patch panels, outlets, pathways, wires, bins, terminal blocks and components or anywhere where information is required.
Key features include: -
Built-in programming - to line up legends on patch panel and faceplate labels without guessing how many spaces are needed.
A repeat legend function - eliminating repetitive typing for marking wires and cables.
File storage – for easy retrieval of frequently used labels.
Laminated tapes – to provide abrasion, chemical and UV resistance.
Fast loading cassettes – which include both label material and ribbon to make changing labels easy.
Bar-coding function, symbol library & an integrated cutter.
