Dubai – OWS Capital Investments, a Dubai-based multi-platform investment company has partnered with Sharjah Co-Op to launch Sharjah’s first integrated health facility that will include a bespoke gym, two indoor padel courts, a premium nutrition corner and a dedicated padel merchandise store. Platform Health Club will be located at Sharjah Co-Op, adjacent to Rahmania Mall and the launch is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2022. 

OWS Capital core pillars include impact and angel investing, business brand representation, creating original IP events and festival operations, among others. A key element also includes facilitating international branded celebrity partnerships in the MENA region, through MELT, its joint venture with Steve Harvey.

Featuring the latest state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, the bespoke IMPACT Gym will offer fitness lovers a curated selection of high-end equipment that will allow them to work on their cardio, embark on strength training and work on full-body fitness as a whole. Platform Health Club will offer exclusive, women-only hours and is looking to introduce high-energy, calorie-burning fitness classes in the coming months. An impressive team of personal trainers will be available to help gym-goers make the most of their time in the gym and guests will be able to relax their muscles in the premium saunas after their sessions. Platform Health Club is also looking to introduce innovative Cryotherapy sessions in the near future. Members and guests of the facility will also have a nutrition corner served up by Drowsy Coffee. As the food and beverage provider, the coffee brand will be offering healthy snacks, refreshments, and their signature coffee. 

Padel tennis has taken not only the UAE, but the world by storm and Platform Health Club is excited to be able to offer members exclusive access to its two high-quality, panoramic indoor courts that can be used year-round. The Pro Dive RealTurf that is used on these courts is certified by the Spanish Padel Federation and promises to offer both beginner and professional players a premium gaming experience. Racket and ball rental will also be available to Platform Padel members and their guests. 

Speaking on the exciting collaboration, Abdullah Al Huraimel, Executive Director of New Enterprises at Sharjah Cooperative Society, explained that the new fitness facility will contribute to the growth of Rahmania Mall, which within a few months has become the preferred community destination for residents of the surrounding area. He added that the mall seeks to encourage a healthy lifestyle among its customers and aspires to provide integrated community services that go beyond shopping, entertainment, leisure and retail.

In terms of nutritious food offering, OWSC has partnered with homegrown food and beverage company, Drowsy Coffee, to create a delectable menu that will include smoothies, specialty coffee, protein bars and more at the dedicated Nutrition Corner. Each item can be customized according to each member’s specific needs with a variety of nutritional extras including collagen and protein, just to name a few. All menu items will include calorie counts in order to help members achieve their unique health goals. 

Platform Health Club has created an immersive Pop-Up Activation, located at Rahmania Mall, Sharjah, where interested guests can speak with ambassadors to understand more about the facilities, experience menu item testers for themselves and take advantage of the fantastic early bird membership specials for the permanent health club.
