Muscat: Empowerment and advancement of Omani women is one of the top national priorities in the Government of Oman's Vision 2020 which outlines the role of the Government in strengthening the position of women in society, their role in various situations and sectors and their overall development. In supporting equal footing between men and women and upgrading the status of women in Oman, OITE Conferences is pleased to confirm the dates for the 1st Extraordinary Women Conference 2013 to be held from 24-25 June 2013 at the Grand Hyatt Muscat.
Themed "Strengthening the Capacity and Capabilities of Omani Women in the Economic & Social Development Process", the 1st Extraordinary Women Conference 2013 aims to facilitate the integration of women in the total economic and social development process. The Conference promises to live up to its name and stand out as an extraordinary event putting influential local and global women from different walks of life in the spotlight and providing them a platform for bringing about change both in their lives and the community.
The 1st Extraordinary Women Conference 2013 will be attended by senior government & UN officials, and corporate executives including Corporate Leaders (Chairman, CEOs, Managing Directors, General Managers), Development Officials from concerned government organisations, Women Entrepreneurs, Women Associations, Women Professionals (all sectors), Youth / Students, Consultants & Trainers, Academia and the Media.
Through the Conference sessions, power packed presentations, panel discussions and networking, attendees may learn from the success stories of local and global women leaders, executives and entrepreneurs who will cover aspects related to career and outlook reinvention, funding entrepreneurial pursuits and balancing business and family.
