Global and regional digital leader, LG Electronics has added three new monitors to its award-winning Flatron range in the Middle East. Hot on the heels of its recent launch of the 17-inch CRT Flatron T710BH, the L1510M, L1710S and L1810M LCD screens further boost the Korean giant’s market leading regional range.
“This LCD monitor trio add greater choice to the wide range of LG monitors already available in the region,” said Mr Michael Kim, Product Manager, LG Electronics Gulf FZE.
“Each has its own distinct style, features and characteristics complimenting the respective size category it represents.”
The 15-inch LCD L1510M monitor features LG’s award-winning slim bezel ergonomic design, a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 and inbuilt multi-media speakers. Suitable for wall mounting with VESA compliant interface pad, the monitor is appropriate for SOHO and small to medium enterprises.
The 17-inch L1710S and 18-inch L1810M monitors are of slim bezel design with swivel base-plates that enable the screen to be turned through 360 degrees. The monitors’ TFT panels feature anti-glare coating with a tilt range of 5 to 30 degrees and wide viewing angles. The L1810M has inbuilt multi-media speakers and USB ports.
“All three of the new screens benefit from LG’s Flatron legacy which have so far reaped over 30 international awards,” said Kim.
“LG Electronics plans to launch more models in its Flatron range very soon, further increasing its grip on monitor leadership in the Middle East.”
LG is the champion of monitor sales throughout the Middle East and Africa. Last year, LG’s regional monitor performance rose 24.4% to US $133 million.
