Dubai: The Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of John Gollifer as the new General Manager of the Association. John will join the Association on 20 January 2019, succeeding Clemence Piot who was General Manager since 2014.
John Gollifer has an exceptional track record in the field of Investor Relations (IR), and brings extensive international experience having been the General Manager and executive director of the Board of the UK Investor Relations Society for six years. Prior to this, John spent eleven years at the Singapore Exchange as Senior Vice President and Head of Investor Relations. He also established and ran the IR Professionals Association of Singapore and taught an IR course at the Singapore Management University from 2009 to 2012. John is already known by MEIRA and some of its members and partners, having contributed to setting up and rolling out the CIRO training across the region.
Andrew Tarbuck, Chairman of MEIRA, said: “With the regional capital markets seeing unprecedented change as well as ever-increasing international interest, these are key times for Investor Relations. We are thrilled to have John Gollifer as our new General Manager to develop MEIRA through these exciting times.
