National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) launched the second session of Summer Internship Program 2018. A two week courses custom-made for high school and college students aged between 14 and 21 years.

Its worth mentioning that LOYAC is participating in NBK’s annual summer internship program for the second time this year. LOYAC will be offering students educative training programs that aim at developing knowledge and responsibility towards society. Also this year, NBK Capital will be taking part in the sessions provided.

Sulaiman Al Marzouk, NBK-Kuwait Deputy CEO, NBK General Manager Treasury Group, participated in the opening of the second session that witnessed the attendance of 31 students. The Summer Internship Program this year is made up of four different sessions, five-hour daily over two weeks each. The third session starts on the 29th of July, while the fourth will take place on 12th of August.

The Program features a mixture of theoretical and practical training dedicated to provide the interns with invaluable knowledge on a variety of subjects such as: teamwork, creative thinking, the means of self-expression and modern banking, in addition to helping them having a greater exposure to daily banking work procedures.

It has been 17 years since the establishment of the program. This annual program demonstrates NBK’s long-standing social involvement as well as its national commitment towards providing young generations with the appropriate opportunities to experience how the actual professional banking issues and transactions are handled and processed.
