NBK honored a number of its front-line and back office employees for their dedication and commitment in work under the circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic. This honoring comes in line with the bank’s recognition and appreciation of the relentless and exceptional efforts exerted by the employees in performing their job duties during the lockdown period, and their key role in enabling the bank to weather this crisis.
On behalf of the executive management Mr. Emad Al-Ablani, General Manager of Group Human Resources, presented honorary shields to the honored employees, in line with the precautionary measures followed by the bank to maintain public safety.
The exceptional efforts made by the bank’s employees over the past months were appreciated by the bank’s executive management, therefore, it decided to honor front-line and back officer employees for the dedication they showed during the lockdown period, and providing all kinds of support and assistance to customers to make it through these exceptional circumstances.
Honoring high performers and appreciating their efforts is a key pillar of NBK’s human capital-focused strategy, which drives better performance and innovation, as demonstrated by NBK’s employees who were the best ambassadors for the bank’s brand and its inherent values over the past months.
The COVID-19 crisis proved the bank’s possession of highly efficient and professional human cadres, which, despite the challenging circumstances, managed to ensure continuity of the bank's business and its usual service quality. The one team spirit that prevailed since the early days of the pandemic was the main driver of the bank's success in overcoming this crisis.
