Mobily's prepaid subscribers whose SIM cards had been lost or damaged and those who had not used their SIMS since April will get SR60 in extra credit over three months, the company announced on Saturday.
As soon as subscribers reactivate their SIM, they will get SR20 in credit after sending an SMS containing the number 20 to 1100, Mobily's help hotline. When they recharges the account in the following month, they will get another SR20, and likewise for the third month.
Subscribers whose SIMs were lost or damaged since April will get a free replacement. The offer will run through 27 June 2009.
Mobily added that in order to help its subscribers get the most value out of their subscriptions for the least possible costs, they can use the free credit to make voice and video calls, send SMS and connect to the Internet.
Prepaid subscribers also get a chance to compete for nine luxury cars when they use their phones in international roaming anywhere in the world, and not only for making voice calls, but for all of Mobily's services. The raffle runs from 19 May to 19 August.
One of Mobily's free services is missed calls alerts, in which subscribers get an SMS telling them they had a phone call while their phones were off. Among other free services are Ranan, the fun ringtone service, MMS, conference calling, and global positioning, to name only a few.
Prepaid subscribers have several ways to recharge their accounts at their disposal. They can use any of the Mobily Auto machines available at all of Mobily's main branches, or they can use the m-pay machines at any of the company's branches and authorized dealers. They also can simply use the trusty old recharge cards, or the even simpler method of using any ATM machine to pay directly from their bank accounts.
