Minhaj Advisory, a leading Islamic financial consultancy and training based in the United Arab Emirates signed a memorandum of understanding and joint cooperation with the Institute for Gulf Studies at the University of Dankook in the Republic of South Korea, in order to cooperate in providing consulting legitimacy related to the various sectors in Islamic Investment .
The memorandum was signed on the sidelines of the official visit of the delegation of Dankook University to the United Arab Emirates. During their visit, the granted HH Sheikha Fatima girl Mubarak, Chairperson of Women's Federation General Chairman of the Family Development Foundation President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, an honorary doctorate in education. The delegation also signed a memorandum of understanding with UAE University, to cooperate in the fields of research and academic institutions.
The memorandum of understanding between Minhajd and Dankook University was signed by. Muhammad Amin Ali Qattan, the legal adviser of Minhaj, and Professor Wen Si Chang, head of Middle East studies at Dankook University. The signing ceremony was also attended by Professor Sin Young Kan, the former Ambassador to the Republic of Korea to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The MOU encompassed the general framework for the establishment of a consulting committee in Islamic matters, in the Institute of Gulf Studies at the University at Dankook University. The memorandum confirmed the readiness of the committee to advice the Korean government and private sector companies wishing to revise work in Shariah compliance.
The memorandum also states the cooperation between the committee and Minhaj to conduct scientific seminars and studies on business transactions compliant with Islamic law.
Muhammad Amin Qattan stated the importance of this MOU in a time when the Emirate of Dubai launched an initiative by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, declaring Dubai to be the capital of Islamic economy.
Professor Si Wen Shang keen, from the Institute for Gulf Studies, noted the importance of signing this MOU with Minhaj Advisory, which excels in the field of providing Islamic consultancy, and the importance of learning from Minhaj's long experience in the field. He stated that this partnership is a strategic on for the University, and serves as a platform for providing Islamic services for both Korea and the UAE.
The two sides also formed an understanding regarding the strategy to be implemented for the Islamic financial forum , which is organized by Minhaj to take place in the UAE at the beginning of the coming year.
