Located in the Madinat Zayed district of the capital, the brand’s first branch in Al Dhafra is scheduled to open its doors to customers in Q4 of 2022 

DUBAI: McDonald’s UAE announced its latest upcoming opening in the nation’s capital, in partnership with Al Dhafra Sports and Cultural Club. The move to launch the first branch in Al Dhafra, will see the brand enhancing its Abu Dhabi based portfolio. The official signing was attended by Mr. Abdulla Bati Salem Mousa Alqubaisi, Chairman of Al Dhafra Sports & Cultural Club, Mr. Mohammed Mubarak Al Khaili, CEO of Al Jazira Restaurants Development Company (McDonald’s UAE), Mr. Salem Eisa Almazroui, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Al Dhafra Sports & Cultural Club, Mr. Mubark Obaid Almansoori, Chairman of Al Dhafra Investment Company, Mr. Khamis Eissa Al Mazrouei, CEO of Al Dhafra Sports & Cultural Club, Mrs. Mahra Salem Al Mansouri, CEO of Al Dhafra Investment Company and Mr. Majid Saleh, Development and Construction Director at McDonald’s UAE, at Western Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The new location will invite residents and visitors to savour the McDonald’s UAE experience from Q4 in 2022, as part of the brand’s wider national expansion plans. Dubbed 'Where the desert meets the sea', Al Dhafra comprises two-thirds of Abu Dhabi, underscoring the significance of the new branch’s location, and marking the first in the area. Aligning with the brand’s commitment to bring people together through feel good moments, the new restaurant allows for convenient proximity to customers residing in the Madinat Zayed district.

The restaurant, with a capacity of 30 seats, will include a McCafe, while its full suite of seamless services will span a Drive-Thru Service and Self-Ordering Kiosks. To make the ordering experience as convenient as possible, it will also offer the McDelivery service.

1- Al Dhafra Football Company:

It is concerned with the sporting activity related to football and related matters, and even the youth sector, which includes about 350 young players from different categories in Zayed City, Al Marfa, Ghiyathi, Al Silaa and Dalma Island with their technical, administrative and medical staffs.

2- Al Dhafra Sports Games Company:

Other sports are concerned with practice except football such as jujitsu, judo, futsal, handball, basketball, volleyball and athletics.
