15 November 2012 (Dubai, United Arab Emirates): Manchester Business School (MBS), one of the world's top ranked business schools, is showcasing its full range of part time Global MBA programmes at the ACCESS MBA and QS MBA Tours of the Middle East in November and December 2012. The tours cover most of the major cities of the GCC as well as Cairo. The school already supports more than 1,300 part time MBA students in the region and the Middle East centre is the largest and fastest growing in the school's international network.
MBS Middle East Centre representatives will be available at each of the MBA Tour events to meet prospective students and will also organise dedicated MBS Global MBA Information Sessions and Open Days, around each of the MBA events. MBA candidates will be able to meet MBS counsellors one-to-one to explore their options, personally.
MBS will join the Access MBA Tour from November 22- December 5, covering five countries, with events in Riyadh (November 22); Dubai (November) 24; Doha (November 26); Kuwait (November 28); and Cairo (December 5).
The QS MBA Tour runs from December 8-13 and covers four cities - Dubai (December 8); Doha (December 10); Riyadh (December 11); Jeddah (December 13). The QS MBA 1-2-1 Fair runs from December 8-9, covering Dubai (December 8) and Abu Dhabi (December 9).
MBS already runs a highly successful part time Global MBA programme for more than 1,300 working professionals in the region, from its centre in Dubai Knowledge Village. The part time study option leads to the award of the internationally recognised Manchester MBA degree awarded by the University of Manchester.
MBS offers four part time Global MBA programmes, designed for experienced businesspeople with MBA learning pathways in engineering, project management and finance, in addition to the general Global MBA. The part time MBA programme guarantees at least 250 hours of face to face workshops with Manchester faculty, conveniently hosted in Dubai.
Randa Bessiso, Director Middle East, comments: "The MBA Tours and our own MBA Information Sessions are a great platform for MBS to meet prospective MBA students and the 1-2-1 sessions are personal, private meetings with the admissions staff, which allows more time for serious discussions with potential students. Our part time MBA students are typically mid career managers or specialists looking to switch career direction from a specialist role to management, or accelerate their management career. This route leads to the award of the same world class Manchester MBA degree awarded by the University of Manchester."
The Manchester Business School MBA is triple accredited and ranked 5th in the UK, 11th in Europe and 31st in the world, according to the Financial Times (2012). MBS is part of a small and select group of institutions worldwide that is accredited by all three major bodies - AACSB International, AMBA and EQUIS.
