Action Aviation is displaying the first MD Explorer 902 to be placed into operational service in the Middle East here at the Dubai Show this week (Outside Pavilion OD6).
Newly delivered to a UAE Royal Family, the helicopter sports an eight-seat luxury VIP interior.
Action Aviation, which distributes MD Helicopters in the Middle East, supplied the Helicopter and now provides a turnkey operational package with pilots and engineers for this Royal operation.
Action Aviation, which is based in Dubai, reports increasing interest in the use of helicopters in the Middle East for both charter and special mission activity.
Operators and private owners have selected the MD Explorer owing to its NOTAR™ anti-torque technology (no Tail Rotor) offering significant benefits that include increased safety and a quieter noise footprint. Furthermore, some of its operational enhancements make it very suitable for hot and high operations. The MD Explorer 902 can carry its maximum certified payload at temperatures exceeding 40 degrees C (ISA + 25) making it an unbeatable solution for the Middle East region.
