Company showcases its latest building adhesive and waterproofing technology at Cityscape Jeddah
Laticrete RAK, a joint venture between RAK Ceramics and Laticrete, the world leader in innovative tile and stone installation systems, showcased its latest building adhesive technologies and waterproofing products such as Hydroban and SpectraLOCK Grouts during the recently-concluded Cityscape Jeddah, the largest real estate investment and development event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Also, as the Awards sponsor, Laticrete RAK sponsored all award categories including Best Islamic Architecture; Best Commercial/Retail Development; Best Waterfront Development; Best Residential Development; and Best Urban Design Master Planning.
Laticrete RAK's participation in Cityscape Jeddah also complemented the company's plans to consolidate its presence in Saudi Arabia, which was the first market entry point for Laticrete products in the Middle East.
Sujit Singh, GM, Laticrete RAK, said, "We have a long association with the Saudi Arabian construction industry and our products are the first choice for architects and consultants who are working on specifications and designs in the Kingdom. Saudi Arabia is a key regional market for Laticrete RAK and our participation in major events such as Cityscape Jeddah is strategically very important to our plans to strengthen our presence in this high potential market."
At the Cityscape Jeddah stand No B-01, Laticrete RAK offered a hands-on demonstration of its products and technologies, which allowed visitors to get a closer look at the quality and advantages of Laticrete RAK products. The company's products have been used in some of the most prestigious landmarks around the world, such as Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Sears tower, Petronas Towers Malaysia, Water Cubes - Beijing Olympics, Riyadh TV Tower, and international airports in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Singapore, and the United States.
Laticrete adhesives along with RAK Ceramics tiles are promoted in the market as a single source solution for the flooring industry. The Laticrete RAK joint venture was established in 2003 and local production started in 2004 at Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, though Laticrete's presence in the market goes back to 1990.
