Kuwait - Coinciding with the Hajj season, Kuwaiti director Yarub Bourahmah has recently wrapped up filming a special song about the pilgrimage to Mecca, which highlights the hope of Muslims to visit the Kaaba to perform the Hajj rituals.
The song also highlights the ambition revered by Muslims around the world to visit the Kaaba in Mecca, as well as the overwhelming feeling of purity and comfort at the conclusion of the rituals.
The song was written by Khaled Al-Mutairi and composed by Ahmad Shaker. It was performed by Fahad Al-Kandari who gained recognition from an Islamic song that aired during Ramadan that was broadcast on Kuwait TV and other major Arab satellite channels.
Bourahmah, who wrote the scenario for the video as well as directed it, said that his team included executive director Abdulaziz Al-Mershed, assistant director Abdulmohsen Al-Qafas, as well as director Khaled Al-Rashed who is the art, lighting and technical consultant.
Commenting on the Hajj project, Al-Kandari pointed out that he participated in this song by playing the role of an Arab Muslim with the participation of three other Muslims from Asia, Africa and Europe as a group, in order to highlight the integrated theatrical role of the song.
"The song is produced by Awtar Company, which is owned by Abdulmohsen Al-Saraawi, and filmed by Light Bug Media Productions using HD 35 mm lenses," Bourahmah said.
The video was filmed at Al-Kout Shopping Mall, as well as on Hajj convoys and at Al-Saraawi's residence.
