Oracle Corporation, the world's largest enterprise software company, today announced that Kuwait & Gulf Link company (KGL), the leading provider of integrated transport and logistics solution in Kuwait and the GCC has selected modules of the Oracle E-Business Suite including Financials and Human Resources Management System (HRMS) in order to enhance its leading position and meet the high performance standards and provide the most cost effective cargo movement desired by its clients.

The strategic implementation of the Financials module of the Oracle E-Business Suite will integrate business and accounting processes ensuring that company executives have up-to-the minute information on all financial aspects of their operations. The implementation of Oracle HRMS modules including Payroll, Time and Labour, Self Service, business intelligence will automate all aspects of routine human resources management and allows KGL to develop and manage its human capital efficiently.

KGL CEO Engineer Saeed Ismail Dashti said 'Currently KGL is embarking on a growth strategy and aims at expanding its transportation and port management operations across the GCC region and the foray into business related to its core activities in logistics. The expansion initiative stems from the expected growth in the regional trade and the inevitable market integration.
