Under the Patronage of HRH Princess Rym Ali

Amman, Jordan - 09  April 2012 - As a further step in its commitment towards supporting youth empowerment and education, Jordan Ahli Bank recently participated as a silver sponsor for the three-day Model United Nations (MUN) conference, hosted by Al-Asriyya Schools. The conference was held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Rym Ali, under the theme of "Protect the Children - Protect the Future".  

The conference aims to fortify the participating students' knowledge on fundamental global issues on security, peace, democracy, human rights focusing on children's and youth's key role in building the bright future. Additionally, students were enlightened on the United Nations' concept, policies, and nature of work, enabled through a mini-model meeting embodying the essence of general assembly meetings of the United Nations.

The event is considered key in positively scolding students' research, writing, oral, and communication skills, in addition to scolding their intercommunication skills vital for resolving conflicts as they play the role of ambassadors and diplomats of different countries during the conference.

Regarding this sponsorship, Mr. Saad Mouasher, Deputy CEO/Head of Group Strategy and Corporate Communications at Jordan Ahli Bank, emphasized that this step stems from the bank's effort to graduate educated knowledgeable generations that are able to hold responsibility and act as  positive change-agents in the future of the kingdom.

Jordan Ahli Bank consistently sponsors local programs, initiatives, and institutions that contribute to youth development in the Kingdom, last of which was the MUN conference at the National Orthodox School in February 2012.
