Amman, Jordan — Joramco, the Amman-based maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider and the engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), recently participated in the Dubai Airshow 2021, one of this year’s most important events for the aviation industry.

The focus of the event was on the strong recovery of aviation and associated industries following the COVID-19 downturn. Having had consistent demand during the pandemic, the company expects a surge in MRO needs as flights return to normal, in particular for their widebody maintenance services.

CEO Fraser Currie was looking ahead, “Joramco is accelerating out of the pandemic, our hangars are full, and we are ready to expand and develop our capabilities. We are planning to increase our footprint, and will be announcing more detailed plans very soon. The Dubai Airshow was a great success, and we were delighted to catch up with so many of our customers and suppliers and make new connections. We were also pleased to announce the continuation of our partnership with Ryanair.”

Joramco had a high-profile booth at the tradeshow, which was visited by dignitaries including Jordan's Prime Minister, HE Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, and the company’s existing and potential business partners, airline customers, and technical suppliers. During the event, Joramco sponsored the Times Aerospace TV spotlight and advertised in the daily printed and online show dailies at the event.

The Dubai Airshow 2021 featured numerous country pavilions and displays of new commercial, private and military aircraft, alongside more than 1,200 exhibitors from across the aerospace sector.
