I.R.I.S. and Kodak announce IRISCapture Pro for Invoices for Kodak Capture Software, a new version of its invoice processing solution redesigned to integrate completely with Kodak Capture Software 6.9
Brussels - I.R.I.S. Group, a publicly traded company (Euronext: IRI), market leader in Automatic Document Recognition (ADR), Electronic Document Management (EDM) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) announced today the release of IRISCapture Pro for Invoices for Kodak Capture Software. It is based on the brand new IRISCapture Pro 8 for Invoices and integrates seamlessly with Kodak Capture Software 6.9.
KODAK Capture Software is a leading scanning and indexing software platform marketed by Kodak on a world-wide basis. The full version of KODAK Capture Software is used by over 15.000 customers.
IRISCapture Pro for Invoices, on the other hand, is I.R.I.S.' dedicated solution to:
- Scan and archive incoming invoices.
- Automatically encode the invoice data and export these data to accounting, ERP and workflow systems.
- Retrieve and easily display the invoices and their attachments from any accounting and ERP systems.
Thanks to I.R.I.S. Fastlink, IRISCapture Pro for Invoices has been fully integrated with KODAK Capture Software.
I.R.I.S. Fastlink allows IRISCapture Pro for Invoices to support the specific features of KODAK Capture Software. Indeed, it is fully dual-stream compliant and can therefore take advantages of dual-stream scanning features with the Kodak scanners (simultaneous scanning in color and black&white). Thanks to this "bridge" that has been created between both products, IRISCapture is also able to recognize and keep the indexes from KODAK Capture Software.
The Global workflow is then:
- KODAK Capture Software performs document separation and document indexing - in this case the documents are invoices plus related documents (order forms, contracts, delivery notes, etc...)
- The separated and indexed documents are then sent to IRISCapture Pro for Invoices, which will generate and archive a highly-compressed file, and will recognize the supplier and all relevant related information on the invoice (VAT, total amount, supplier's details, etc.)
- These data are then ready to be exported in the ERP or accounting software. The invoices and their attachments can be easily retrieved and displayed for consultation at any time and from any external applications.

IRISCapture for Invoices for Kodak Capture Software is available for international distribution through our network of value added resellers which are specialized in imaging, ERP or accounting applications. For a one-user configuration, pricing will range from 1.490 to 17.000 depending on the number of invoices to be processed per month. IRISCapture Pro Studio costs 3.990 .
