Companies that are creating, developing or spearheading technology with the potential to transform the offshore marine and workboats industries are invited to apply to present their innovative work during an exciting new session titled “Disrupter Presentations” at Seatrade Offshore Marine and Workboats Middle East 2019; a two-day conference and trade show that will run in Dubai from 23-24 September 2019 during UAE Maritime Week.
The “Disrupter Presentations” session at Seatrade Offshore Marine and Workboats Middle East is offering three speaker opportunities to those at the forefront of technology progress in the industry and will take place on the second day of the event (Tuesday 24th September 2019). This new feature is highly anticipated by attendees of the event, which has historically included a high proportion of vessel owners, operators and managers.
Applications to take part in this session are invited from those either creating, developing or spearheading the following types of technology:
- AR Technology
- Artificial Intelligence
- Autonomous Vessels
- Cyborg crew – wearable technology
- Data analytics
- Design and Construction
- Drones
- Propulsion
- Robotics
- Vessel performance management and predictive maintenance

To apply to take part in ‘Disrupter Presentations’, companies will need to submit a proposed presentation title, short synopsis and speaker biography. All applications will then be reviewed by Seatrade against a criteria for technological innovation, relevance and potential for invigorating the offshore marine arena. Applications will close on Thursday 18 July 2019.
